Bio: I was born in Kankakee, Illinois in 2000. Kankakee is home to around 30,000 residents and is an hour south of Chicago. I attended Herscher High School in Herscher, Illinois, and developed a love for math, science, and engineering along with a love for sports through football, basketball, and track. I began college at Northwestern University in September 2019. With a dream of engineering medical devices, I enrolled as a Biomedical Engineer. I transferred into the Mechanical Engineering program after my first quarter at NU. I am currently a senior at Northwestern University and am finishing a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Design, in addition to the Segal Design Certificate and Co-Op Certificate. I have previously worked as a Global Engineering Co-op for Hollister Incorporated in Libertyville, Illinois. I will be working at Epic Systems in Verona, Wisconsin as a Technical Solutions Engineer beginning in July 2023. I aim to utilize my engineering skills in conjunction with my leadership and emotional intelligence to achieve my lifetime goal of bringing health, dignity, and joy to as many people as possible.
